Nature’s Child bring live reggae to Jerry’s Restaurant and Lounge in Chesapeake on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Three hours of the real thing on the Indian River side of town, one week after the band’s three night run through Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
Virginia’s Reggae Ambassadors are a Virginia Beach institution: a multicultural band that mixes rock, jazz, latin, blues and funk into a reggae core, with an East Coast touring resume that includes opening for Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Third World and Damian Marley. Jerry’s is a neighborhood spot on Sparrow Road, the kind of room where the kitchen runs late and local bands take the Friday and Saturday slots. Saturday hours run to 2:00 AM, so there is no rush out the door when the last song ends.
