The Ambassador & Chosen Few Live at Floyd Yoga Jam

The Ambassador & Chosen Few return to Floyd Yoga Jam on Friday, September 4, 2026, taking a 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM slot on the festival’s Friday night bill in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside Floyd. It is a repeat appearance for the Roanoke reggae outfit at a festival they have played before.
The Ambassador is a Roanoke artist working across the modern reggae spectrum, from Cali reggae and reggae rock to roots revival and chill island sounds, with recording work done in Floyd. Chosen Few is his backing band, pulled together from members of Father Sun and Music Road Co. Recent singles on Peacemaker Records include “Sweat and Move” and “If You Feel Like I Feel”, both from 2025, and he also runs a monthly Reggae Night residency at Martin’s Downtown in Roanoke and plays a second project, The Dub Brothers, with Brent Hoskins.
Floyd Yoga Jam runs September 3 to 6, 2026 on a farm at 5430 Indian Valley Rd NW in Willis, about 20 minutes from the town of Floyd. Organized by the nonprofit Karma Culture, it pairs three stages of live music with yoga tents, workshops, an art village and Kidsville family programming, and campers stay on site across the weekend. A Friday evening reggae set on a mountain farm is close to the ideal setting for this band.
