Greg Gutty at the Live in the Garden Listening Party

Greg Gutty is the featured artist at the Live in the Garden Listening Party in Hampton on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 4:00 PM, opening Season 2026 of the Legacy Garden Media series.
Gutty calls his sound Rehipsoul, his own word for a fusion of reggae, hip hop and rhythm and blues. The Portsmouth artist has been at it for over a decade, with the albums Ready for the World in 2014, Spiritual Warfare in 2019 and The Road Less Traveled in 2024, plus the single “Carry On” this year. He turns up as a featured vocalist across other people’s records too, on cuts like “Find My Way” and “Survivor.”
Live in the Garden is Legacy Garden Media’s in studio performance and interview platform, a Hampton Roads outfit that has put more than 150 independent artists in front of over a million views. A listening party is the other side of that work: the record played properly, in a room, with the artist there.
