Young Lion returns to Chef Life Brewery & Distillery in Newport News on Friday, November 13, 2026, for a night of live reggae from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Grab your crew, a craft brew, and something good from the food hall, and kick off the weekend with roots and feel-good rhythms.
David “Young Lion” Cuffee has been carrying positive roots reggae around Hampton Roads for years, writing his own material rather than working a covers set. His originals include “Greetings” and “She’s So Sweet,” and he has played rooms from Boil Bay in Norfolk to Mona Lisa’s patio. He’s a regular on the Chef Life calendar, so the crowd here knows to come ready to dance and sing along.
Chef Life Brewery & Distillery is part of Chef’s Market Food Hall at 11800 Merchants Walk, with a brewery, a distillery, a butcher counter, and a food hall under one roof. Come early to eat, stay for the set.
