Young Lion Reggae Live at Chef Life in Newport News
About This Event
Chef Life Brewery & Distillery presents David “Young Lion” Cuffee for a free reggae show in Newport News on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Grab a house-made pint and settle in for three hours of positive roots vibes at Chef’s Market on Merchants Walk.
Young Lion has been carrying uplifting roots reggae around Hampton Roads for years, leaning on original songs like Greetings and She’s So Sweet rather than a covers set. A familiar name from Norfolk to the Peninsula, Young Lion is a regular on the Chef Life calendar and always brings an easy, welcoming energy to the room.
Chef Life Brewery & Distillery is part of Chef’s Market at 11800 Merchants Walk, a food hall and butcher shop setup that makes it easy to turn the show into a full night out with dinner and drinks.
