Demarco Live at Virginia CaribFest in Norfolk

Dancehall star Demarco is confirmed to perform live at Virginia CaribFest on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Town Point Park on the Norfolk waterfront. It is the 21st year for the festival, which runs September 18 and 19 under the banner One Culture, One Vibe, One Celebration.

Demarco, born Collin Demar Edwards in Portmore, Jamaica, came up as a producer and selector before stepping to the mic himself, and he has spent close to two decades as one of dancehall’s most consistent hitmakers. “Duppy Know Ah Who Fi Frighten” on the Shoot Out riddim put him on the map, and “Fallen Soldiers”, “True Friend” and “Show It (So Sexy)” followed. He has worked with Sean Paul, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Busta Rhymes and Bounty Killer, remixed with Rihanna, signed to Akon’s Konlive in 2017, and released his debut album Melody on Ineffable Records in 2021.

CaribFest is more than the main stage. The weekend takes in a Kickoff Street Jam, a J’Ouvert morning, the Caribbean Night on the Water boat ride, and a Parade of the Bands, alongside food vendors, cultural exhibits and family programming. On Saturday the music, food and vibes start at noon, with gates for the ticketed evening portion opening at 4:00 PM.

Town Point Park is Norfolk’s downtown waterfront festival park on the Elizabeth River at 113 Waterside Drive, managed by Norfolk Festevents. General admission is sold through Eventbrite, and VIP table packages run from $900 for a reserved table for four with a premium bottle up to $1,400 for a table for six with two bottles, with custom group packages also offered.
