Norfolk’s beachfront turns into a full day of island vibes as Nubian Fest takes over Ocean View Beach Park on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The annual festival has become a Hampton Roads summer tradition, bringing reggae, culture, and community to the sand at 100 W. Ocean View Ave.
This year’s lineup runs deep: Ras Indio, the roots reggae voice out of Belize, and Vallid, straight out of Jamaica, headline a bill that also features Greg Gutty, the dynamic duo Fire & Ice, Empress Jones, Waltei, and the Lionsbridge Band holding it down live. Between sets, DJ Run Chune and Empress Isheba keep the selections flowing.
Ten hours of music right on the beach, with the bay breeze included. Bring your chair, bring your flag, and make a day of it.
