Easy Star All-Stars close out the Outdoor Fall Concert Series at Rivers Casino Portsmouth on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM, playing Dub Side of the Moon front to back on The Lawn. Tickets start at $15 and are on sale now.
Easy Star All-Stars built their reputation on a simple, audacious idea: take a landmark album and rebuild it in reggae. Dub Side of the Moon, their 2003 reggae reworking of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, is the record that started it and remains one of the best selling reggae albums of the century. The collective has since given the same treatment to Radiohead’s OK Computer as Radiodread, the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper as Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band, Michael Jackson’s Thriller as Thrillah, and David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust as Ziggy Stardub. Expect the full Dub Side set plus selections from across that catalog, played by a band that has toured more than 30 countries across six continents in nearly two decades.
The show is a rare chance to hear these arrangements outdoors at dusk with a full band, deep bass and stacked vocal harmonies, which is where the material really lands. This is the reggae date on a fall series that otherwise leans on tribute acts, so the room should be a mix of reggae heads and curious Pink Floyd fans.
The Lawn sits behind Admiral’s Steak & Seafood on the Rivers Casino Portsmouth property at 3630 Victory Blvd. The Admiral’s patio is reserved for VIP guests. Note that the casino floor itself is 21 and over with valid photo ID.
