Strictly the Best: 90s vs 2000s at Spice Lounge
About This Event
Karib Kings present Strictly the Best: 90s vs 2000s on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM at Spice Restaurant & Lounge on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. It’s a throwback night that pits two golden eras of dancehall and reggae against each other, and the crowd gets to decide which decade runs things.
On one side, the 90s: the riddims, the bashment anthems and the dance moves that ruled the era. On the other, the 2000s favorites that kept the party going into a new century. Come ready to wine, dance and sing along, bring your friends, and pick a side. The promoters want to hear your vote and your favorite throwback tune.
Karib Kings have made a habit of these musical face-offs, from Libra Scales: Soca vs Reggae at Spice in October to Hip Hop vs Reggae on Halloween. Spice Restaurant & Lounge serves modern Caribbean and Southern soul food with rum punches to match, and it has become one of Richmond’s go-to homes for Caribbean nightlife. Come early to eat.
