The Ambassador brings his Friends Trio to Twisted Track Brewpub in Roanoke on Saturday, August 29, 2026, playing from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There is no cover, so it is an easy Saturday evening of reggae over craft beer on Shenandoah Avenue.
The Ambassador is a Roanoke reggae artist whose sound runs through Cali reggae, roots revival and reggae rock, the kind of warm, melodic island sound built for a summer evening. He keeps a monthly Reggae Night residency at Martin’s Downtown and turns up around the region with several projects, including Father Sun, Chosen Few and the newer Dub Brothers with Brent Hoskins, whose first single “Solid Ground” came out in 2025. His own recent singles include “Sweat and Move” and “If You Feel Like I Feel.” The Friends Trio is the stripped down version of the band, three pieces and plenty of room for the songs.
Twisted Track Brewpub is a craft brewery and restaurant in the Shenandoah Avenue corridor near downtown Roanoke, pouring lagers, European ales, IPAs, stouts and sours alongside a pub menu. It is casual and pet friendly, and the kitchen runs until 10:00 PM on Saturdays, so there is time to eat before and after the set.
