Cultivated Mind and Quisy J at Grow Depot Anniversary
About This Event
Grow Depot celebrates five years with a Customer Appreciation Celebration on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 2404 Virginia Beach Blvd in Virginia Beach. Live music comes from Cultivated Mind and Quisy J, and the afternoon doubles as a fundraiser for Mission Forward Fund and Homegrown 4 Heroes.
Cultivated Mind has been making socially conscious roots and dub reggae in Hampton Roads since 2013. Founded by producer and multi-instrumentalist Anthony “Tony” Brand, the project is known for live loop shows that build drums, bass, guitar, keys, and vocals on the fly, with live dubbing and medleys of classic reggae woven in. Tony is joined by Quisy J, also known as Quis of the Hampton Roads reggae fusion band Lost Soul Society, for a sunny daytime set.
Beyond the music there’s live glass blowing, the Killin’ Pine Mobile Axe Range, raffles, vendors, and giveaways. Grow Depot is a Virginia Beach home gardening and hydroponics shop, so come for the vibes and leave with something to grow.
