Cultivated Mind Live at Ocean’s Olé
About This Event
Cultivated Mind heads to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for a Saturday night show at Ocean’s Olé on October 24, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM. Grab a margarita, settle in on Atlantic Avenue, and let the band carry you from sunset into the evening.
Cultivated Mind is a Hampton Roads reggae, dub, and jazz outfit founded by producer Anthony Brand and active since 2013. Their sound draws on old school dub production along with jazz, blues, salsa, and East Coast hip hop, and their sets mix originals with medleys of reggae classics and dub versions of soul and blues songs. They’re also the official reggae band of the Hippie-Fari Reggae Radio and Podcast. Catch them in Windsor the next afternoon for an acoustic set if one show isn’t enough.
Ocean’s Olé is a modern Mexican cocina at 1307 Atlantic Avenue, known for handmade corn tortillas, scratch-made salsas and mole, and a weekend-long happy hour with $5 margaritas. It shares the building with Ocean’s 14 and regularly brings live music and DJs to the Oceanfront.
