Celebrate Jamaica’s independence with a night of reggae, dancehall, soca, Afrobeats, rum punch, and island energy at Jam Cafe in Virginia Beach.
Presented as part of Foreign Fridays, the Jamaica Independence Celebration features music by Spectrum Disco, taking guests through Jamaican classics, dancehall favorites, soca anthems, Afrobeats, and Caribbean party hits.
Guests are encouraged to represent in green, yellow, and black as Jam Cafe celebrates Jamaican culture, music, and community one day after Jamaica’s official Independence Day on August 6. Jamaica gained independence in 1962.
