Nature’s Child plays the International Night Market in Virginia Beach on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The market runs 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 723 20th Street in the ViBe Creative District, a block off the Oceanfront, and it is free and open to everyone.
Nature’s Child is Virginia Beach’s own, and one of the most reliable reggae bands on the East Coast. Their sound pulls roots reggae through rock, jazz, latin, blues and funk, which is why they land as well on an open air market stage as they do on a festival bill. The band has opened for Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Third World and Damian Marley, and their debut album, The First Supper, still gets pulled out at shows.
The International Night Market is a ViBe Creative District series celebrating the cultures that make up Virginia Beach, with live music, dance performances, hands on art, games, local artisan vendors and a lineup of food trucks from around the world. September 18 is the fourth market of the 2026 season, with one more to come on October 16. Free parking is available on 19th Street and in the Virginia Beach Convention Center lots.
The band plays again the following night at Wing King Kempsville, so this is a two night run for anyone who wants both the family friendly early set and the late one.
