Nature’s Child Live at Wing King Kempsville
About This Event
Nature’s Child brings East Coast roots reggae back to Wing King Kempsville in Virginia Beach tonight, Friday, October 9, 2026, with the music starting at 8:30 PM.
Nature’s Child is Virginia Beach’s own, and one of the most reliable reggae bands on the East Coast. Their sound pulls roots reggae through rock, jazz, latin, blues and funk, and a Friday night set in a room like this is where the funk and rock end of it usually comes out. The band has opened for Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Third World and Damian Marley, and their debut album, The First Supper, still gets pulled out at shows.
Wing King Kempsville sits at 1920 Centerville Turnpike in the Kempsville section of Virginia Beach, a wing joint and sports bar that runs live bands most weekends. Nature’s Child is a regular here, most recently in September.
