The AmbassadorZz are a Hampton Roads reggae band known around the region for energetic “Live & Direct” shows and a set list that runs from roots reggae and lovers rock through dancehall classics, soulful R&B and modern island favorites. They played Boil Bay earlier this summer, headlined the Friday Night Live Series at Kaskades Lounge, shared the ReggaeFest 2026 bill at Smartmouth Pilot House with Lionsbridge and Gabriel Meeks, and took the stage at Rivers Casino Portsmouth in August.
Boil Bay sits in the Strand Shopping Center on Holland Road, an award-winning Cajun seafood spot built around Louisiana crawfish, snow crab, shrimp and lobster tail, served boil bag style with corn, potatoes and sausage. There is a full bar, and the kitchen runs until 10:30 PM on Fridays, so the music and the seafood line up nicely.
