The Legendary Wailers ft. Junior Marvin Live at Elevation 27
About This Event
Bob Marley’s lead guitarist Julian “Junior” Marvin brings The Legendary Wailers to Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach on Friday, November 27, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 8:00 PM, so shake off the Thanksgiving leftovers and come skank to the songs that carried reggae around the world.
Junior Marvin joined Bob Marley & The Wailers in 1977 and played lead guitar and sang on the records that defined the band’s international era, from Exodus and Kaya to the live Babylon by Bus, Survival and Uprising. He toured the globe with Bob until Marley’s passing in 1981, and today he keeps that legacy alive on stage with The Legendary Wailers, fresh off a busy 2024 and 2025 world tour. Expect the classics played by a man who was in the room when they were made.
Elevation 27 is a live music venue and restaurant on Nevan Road in Virginia Beach, holding around 600 for concerts. General admission is standing room on the floor, and reserved dining tables and booths are available if you’d rather eat and watch from a seat. The show is all ages.
