Virginia Caribbean Block Party in Virginia Beach

The Virginia Caribbean Block Party takes over the Virginia Beach Sportsplex on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Seven hours of Caribbean sound in the open air at Landstown, with food and vendors, presented by KKM LLC as part of the wider Afro Caribbean Weekend.

That is a full sweep of the Caribbean spectrum in one afternoon rather than a single lane, and the clash element means selectors going head to head rather than just a playlist.
The Sportsplex is a big open site at Landstown Centre with room to spread out, which suits a seven hour party better than an indoor room would. When this one wraps at 10:00 PM the night carries on across town: the official after party runs at Jam Cafe from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM with Bukka, Killa Khan and DJ Ire.
