Cultivated Mind and Jeremy Sanchez bring roots and dub reggae to Billsburg Brewery in Williamsburg on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Grab a pint and settle in for an evening of conscious riddims by the water.
Cultivated Mind has been making socially conscious roots and dub reggae in Hampton Roads since 2013. Founded by producer and multi-instrumentalist Anthony “Tony” Brand, who records at his home studio King Street Records, the project is known for live loop shows that build drums, bass, guitar, keys, and vocals on the fly, with live dubbing and medleys of classic reggae woven in. The band is also the official reggae band of Hippie-Fari Reggae Radio & Podcast.
Jeremy Sanchez joins the set. He played in the nyabinghi drum session alongside original Cultivated Mind members at A Cultivated Cookout.
Billsburg Brewery sits at the James City County Marina on Jamestown Road, overlooking College Creek.
